I envy you if you’re a regular napper.
 
WHY??  Because I just learned that it makes you smarter, more creative and more productive than me!!
 
I’m not a natural napper!   Wish I was – but it always held an element of guilt for me.   But no more.
 
A friend posted a brilliant article. It included scientific studies that proved the benefits of a good nap.

Is Meditation the same as Napping?

My best effort is tied to my daily fifteen minute meditation. I find myself in a state of utter relaxation at the end of it I wouldn’t say I’m conscious – but I wouldn’t say that I’m sleeping.  It’s more like a simple, floating state with an blank canvas in my mind.  It’s quite lovely.
 
But after watching a renowned sleep (NAP) reseacher’s TED Talk, I’m hooked on the huge benefits of a good nap.  Not to mention, NAPPING is a FREE commodity.

So tell me – are you a good napper?  What’s your secret?  Are there any tricks you use to make sure a nap doesn’t turn into a big sleep? You know, one that means you can’t fall asleep at your regular bedtime.  If you’ve ever done shift work – have naps been especially useful to you?
