I envy you if you’re a regular napper.
WHY?? Because I just learned that it makes you smarter, more creative and more productive than me!!
I’m not a natural napper! Wish I was – but it always held an element of guilt for me. But no more.
A friend posted a brilliant article. It included scientific studies that proved the benefits of a good nap.
Is Meditation the same as Napping?
My best effort is tied to my daily fifteen minute meditation. I find myself in a state of utter relaxation at the end of it I wouldn’t say I’m conscious – but I wouldn’t say that I’m sleeping. It’s more like a simple, floating state with an blank canvas in my mind. It’s quite lovely.
But after watching a renowned sleep (NAP) reseacher’s TED Talk, I’m hooked on the huge benefits of a good nap. Not to mention, NAPPING is a FREE commodity.
So tell me – are you a good napper? What’s your secret? Are there any tricks you use to make sure a nap doesn’t turn into a big sleep? You know, one that means you can’t fall asleep at your regular bedtime. If you’ve ever done shift work – have naps been especially useful to you?
I look forward to hearing back from you in the reply section below. Be sure to share this blog with anyone you know whose a good napper or could benefit from naps.
